API Broker
API Broker is the modular financial infrastructure of AdCap Grupo Financiero that allows your platform to offer investment services quickly, securely, and in a regulated manner. Digital wallets, fintechs, banks, and technology integrators connect through our APIs to enable investor onboarding, mutual funds, MEP Dollar, trading, and balance remuneration — without taking on operational or regulatory complexity.
Integration is 100% via API and webhooks. The end-user experience is 100% yours.
How the documentation is organized
🔐 Authentication
All API Broker APIs use Bearer (JWT) authentication managed through AWS Cognito. The first step is always to obtain a valid token.
POST /api/auth/login
{
"username": "your_username",
"password": "your_password"
}The response includes an AccessToken valid for 1 hour and a RefreshToken to renew the session. All requests require the header: Authorization: Bearer {AccessToken}
Credentials are assigned by the API Broker team during the Staging phase and subsequently in Production. Each environment has its own credentials and base URL:
| Environment | Base URL |
|---|---|
| Staging (STG) | http://apibroker.dev-adcap.com |
| Production (PRD) | http://apibroker.prd-adcap.com |
⚙️ Onboarding
Onboarding is a prerequisite for all modules. Before a user can invest, they need an active brokerage account (investment_account_id). The flow has four sequential steps:
Step 1 — Person registration POST /v2/persons
Registers the user in the system. Supports individuals (national ID, personal data) and legal entities (company name, corporate data). Returns a person_id.
Step 2 — Documentation
- Individuals:
POST /identity-documents— front and back of national ID + selfie in base64. - Legal entities:
POST /contracts(multipart) — articles of incorporation, certified financial statements, list of authorized signatories, beneficial ownership structure.
Step 3 — Brokerage account POST /v2/investment-accounts
Creates the investment account linked to the person_id. Includes a risk profile questionnaire (5 questions) and defines enabled markets. Returns an investment_account_id.
For legal entities, the system automatically generates a fund account, required to operate mutual funds using the SIMPLE method.
Step 4 — Bank account POST /bank-accounts
Links a same-name bank account (same ownership, validated by tax ID) to enable deposits and withdrawals. Returns a bank_account_id.
📦 Available Modules
Once onboarding is complete, you can enable one or more modules independently depending on the product you want to offer:
| Module | What it enables | Main endpoint |
|---|---|---|
| Balance Remuneration | Automatic yield on idle balances via Money Market mutual funds | PUT /continuous-remuneration |
| Mutual Funds | Subscription and redemption of Adcap Asset Management funds | POST /market/fund-requests |
| MEP Dollar | Buy and sell dollars via the capital markets (T+0) | POST /market/mep-order |
| Trading | Buy and sell CEDEARs, equities, and bonds (BYMA) | POST /market/market-order/ |
Each module operates on the same investment_account_id and the same cash in / cash out flow.
🔔 Webhooks
All operations are asynchronous. Your platform must expose a URL to receive the following events:
| Event | When it fires |
|---|---|
deposit_create | When a deposit is credited to the brokerage account |
investment_account_update | When the brokerage or fund account is successfully created |
withdraw_request_update | When the status of a withdrawal changes (IN_PROGRESS, COMPLETED, REJECTED) |
🔵 Back Office
API Broker provides a web Back Office so your team can look up and manage your users' information without going directly to the API.
From the Back Office you can:
- Search for individuals by tax ID and retrieve their
person_id - Check the status of brokerage accounts and their full portfolio (balances, mutual funds, CEDEARs, equities, bonds)
- Review deposits, withdrawals, and trade tickets
- Quickly identify enabled or blocked accounts
Back Office access is configured during the integration process along with production credentials.
Business Model
API Broker operates under a B2B2C model with revenue sharing.
There are no fixed integration costs: monetization is based on volume traded.
