API Broker Back Office

The API Broker Back Office is a web tool available to the partner's operational teams. It allows you to check in real time the status of users, their investment accounts, portfolios, assets, transactions, and movements — without needing to interact directly with the API.

It is designed for operations, customer support, and compliance roles that need visibility into end-user activity on a day-to-day basis.

Access: Back Office credentials are configured by API Broker during the integration process. If you need access for your team, request it from your account manager.

What does your team use it for?

The Back Office is the starting point for resolving most operational queries without needing to escalate to technical support:

  • Verify whether a user was correctly registered and exists in the system
  • Check the status of an investment account (enabled, disabled, pending)
  • View a user's complete portfolio: ARS and USD balances, mutual funds, CEDEARs, equities, and bonds
  • Consult available instruments and assets
  • Review a user's market transaction history
  • Review the history of deposits, withdrawals, and market tickets
  • Validate a user's contact details (email, phone)
  • Manage operational settings and team permissions

Common use cases

"My user says they made a transfer but their balance is not showing"

Go to Vouchers → Deposits. Search by investment_account_id or CUIT. Check whether the deposit appears and its status. If it does not appear, the deposit may not have been matched by CUIT or may be pending due to banking hours.

"My user cannot trade"

Go to Accounts. Find the account and check the Account status field. If it shows Disabled, contact API Broker support to request re-enabling.

"My user says they have a balance but cannot withdraw"

Go to Portfolio. Verify that the balance appears in the Currency section (liquid balance). If the balance is in Fund (mutual fund), it must be redeemed first before a withdrawal can be made.

"My user placed an order but it does not appear as executed"

Go to Transactions. Search by brokerage account and date range. Check the order status. If it shows RETRY or NOT_SENT, report it to API Broker support with the details.

"My user is not receiving confirmation emails"

Go to People. Search by CUIT and verify the registered email address. If it is incorrect, report it to API Broker support to manage the update.

Common troubleshooting

Account not found in search

Verify that the brokerage account number is correct. Try searching by CUIT instead of Investor ID. Make sure there are no extra spaces in the search field.

Portfolio shows Total ARS as NaN

This is a display error. Add up each section manually. If it persists, report it to API Broker support.

Holdings do not match expected values

There may be a sync delay. If the discrepancy persists for more than 30 minutes, report it to support with the investment_account_id and the details.

An order shows status RETRY or NOT_SENT

Report it to API Broker support with the investment_account_id and the order identifier to manage a retry or correction.

Important notes

  • The Back Office displays consolidated information. For complex cases requiring more technical detail, the API Broker support team has access to additional tools.
  • User data (CUIT, email, phone) is sensitive information. Handle it confidentially and only for operational purposes related to the account.
  • For any action that requires modifying user data (updating email, re-enabling an account, correcting a CBU), contact the API Broker support team rather than attempting it directly.
